It's a boy!

This is too good not to share...

Today me and Gitte witnessed the arrival of the long awaited "boy".

And not just any boy, no. Its the genuine Fatboy bean-bag chair!

Gitte purchased it a couple of weeks back, but we couldn't get it delivered until today. So it was with great anticipation, almost like christmas, that we finally received it today.

Check out the pictures, and don't say you're not a little bit jealous... Its awesome!

High as a kite

Today I, and most of my colleagues, went out to Tølløse to try flying in gliders.

A wicked experience, like nothing I have ever tried. I'm telling you, rollercoasters are nothing compared to flying around in the sky only help up by termic force.

The gliders was pulled up into the air by a cable. The engine pulling the 1000-meter long cable, was on old V8 engine with 350bhp

An image taken moments after take-off. Estimated altitude is 300 meters.

A little higher up in the air. Most of Zealand is visible from 500+ meters altitude. Pretty impressive view.

The glider club has a few planes. For our ride, they used two of those to make sure we all got a ride without to much waiting. This shot of the other glider was taken after my descent had started.

I got a few videoclips from the take-off and landing, taken from the cockpit. The files are quite large though. Let me know if it has any interest, and I will see if I can compress them a bit.
